Most of us have been following the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment system kit from its first popularity. The images of the next blocktastic console retro have just been unveiled by the LEGO business. The LEGO Atari 2600 will be available on August 1 for $239.99.

In a press statement, LEGO designer Chris McVeigh revealed his tale, saying that “when he was a youngster, Atari 2600 used to be the most spectacular gift that he got.”

“This is the major reason for offering a wonderful experience to link two icons, namely Atari and Lego, with each other. So, perhaps, constructing this antique console transports you back to the good old days when a couple of pixels could express themselves in the realm of adventure.

The LEGO Atari 2600 (Build number #10306) features 2532 bricks and a reproduction of the 1977 home console with the iconic one-button joystick. It also includes a little game stack cartridge (complete with stacking tower) with its own unique touch, extra creating on the basis of legendary successes like Asteroid, Centipede, and Adventure. You may recall these pasts from the tedious final act of Steven Spielberg’s disasterpiece, also known as Ready Player One.

Not only that, but when you flip the console body, it may show a lovely tiny diorama of the 1980s video game lover that delivers the fun of 2600 action in a retro-themed house. This delivers memories from the LEGO corporation, featuring the 2600 console’s inherent hard edged style. All of the cartridges are compatible with LEGO’s brick-based design. And the final console is 13 inches wide, 3 inches long, and 9 inches tall (depth).

The LEGO Atari 2600 kit will be available for purchase on August 1, 2022.
